About London Academy

We pride ourselves in our teaching technique and our personal approach to students. We strongly believe that the main purpose of studying grammar, pronunciation, listening, reading and writing is to learn how to speak a foreign language fluently. Therefore, we teach those practical skills so that students achieve proficiency in speaking first of all. Classes at London Academy are small. Our policy is to have a maximum of 6 students per class. We want to make sure that each student gets as much teacher’s attention as possible and that every student has a chance to speak a foreign language a lot, which is needed to advance, especially in conversation classes. The teachers who work in our language school are highly qualified, experienced and certified instructors. They also constantly improve their teaching skills by attending numerous educational conferences and workshops which are held in Europe. We understand that our students are very serious about learning a foreign language. We also appreciate that they have chosen our school. Therefore, we feel very responsible for our students’ language development and we do our best to help them. Over the years we have trained hundreds of students who now are successful professionals enjoying employment in many different walks of life.

Polish for foreigners

In this class you will learn how to speak the Polish language. Over the years, many of our students have told us that they know the grammar or rules but they do not really know how to use them when they speak in real life situations. Therefore, our course is a detailed study of Polish vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation through conversations.
Students talk to the teacher who corrects their mistakes. The teacher also makes sure that everyone gets the same amount of speaking time. Groups are small. Students are focused on speaking Polish all the time.
The course is interesting, it is a lot of fun and time flies! We make sure our students do not repeat the same mistakes every day. As a result, everyone in our language school learns to communicate in Polish very fast.

IELTS/TOEIC/TOEFL Classes

These are exam preparation courses. Students do on average one IELTS, TOEIC or TOEFL test per week. It is an in-depth analysis of English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The focus is also on developing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. The majority of our students not only improve their English a lot but also get high IELTS, TOEIC or TOEFL scores. The students begin by taking a diagnostic exam to discover their weak areas. Then they receive a complete overview of test taking strategies, including vocabulary development, strategies for reading comprehension, identification of listening topics, speech cohesion and pronunciation, and fundamentals of essay writing.
